Abbott submits 2,500 petition signatures
AUGUSTA March 10, 2010 – Steve Abbott, who announced his candidacy for Maine Governor on January 12, 2010, is now officially on the June 8th primary ballot. Abbott submitted 2,500 signatures to the Secretary of State’s office, which notified him late today that he has qualified for the ballot.

January 14, 2010 – Steve Abbott made his race for Maine Governor official today by filing the required paperwork at the State Ethics Commission offices in Augusta. After an unprecedented 500-plus people attended Abbott’s three campaign kick-off events in Portland, Orono, and Presque Isle earlier this week, Abbott is now on the campaign trail.
